Abstract:

This report introduces the interdisciplinary application of machine intelligence by Professor Jun Shen's team in the fields of intelligent transportation, bioinformatics and intelligent learning in recent years. He will start with how to discover problems, introduce how to collect data, derive algorithms on how to apply machine intelligence, and finally obtain practical solutions to application problems.

About the speaker:

Professor Jun Shen, graduated from Southeast University, is now a full Professor at the University of Wollongong after working in several Australian universities. His expertise lies in multi-field applications of machine intelligence, including education, transportation, manufacturing, iot intelligence and bioinformatics. He has served as a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Georgia Institute of Technology. At present, he serves as the editorial board of four regional journals and has published more than 400 papers. Professor Jun Shen is a senior member of ACM and IEEE, an outstanding lecturer of IEEE, an outstanding chapter leader of IEEE, a member of the ACM/AIS course MSIS2016 review group, and has served as a member of the journal review or international conference program for more than 400 times.
